These kuripes are hand made with love and intention by artisans in Pucallpa, Peru. They are made from Chonta wood, Palo Sangre, or bone, decorated with the grandmother vine, and metal, with only the finest finishes, they are crafted for your sacred ceremonial use! The virtues of the chonta wood, palo sangre, and Palo Santo include protection and defense against negative energies. In the indigenous regions of the Amazon, chonta is considered the tree of life, due to the properties of the wood. As well, the bone is considered to bring the strength and protection of the animal kingdom.
