The virtues of the chonta wood, palo sangre, and Palo Santo include protection and defense against negative energies. In the indigenous regions of the Amazon, chonta is considered the tree of life, due to the properties of the wood. As well, the bone is considered to bring the strength and protection of the animal kingdom.
